Online Banking for Business Accounts
Merkur’s Netbank is a computer programme that makes it possible to bank over the Internet. You can pay and view your bills, transfer funds, view account details and much more.
Straightforward and Fast
The system is fast and easy to use. All your need is a PC together with Internet access. Upon signing up for Netbank you are provided with full instructions for use and access to help lines.
Basic or Extra
There are two versions of Netbank Business: Basic and Extra. Extra allows for integration with a firm’s accounts, salaries, currency and financial information etc.
Becoming a user of Netbank is free. Business Basic costs 10 kroner per month. Business Extra costs 110 kroner a month. Money transfers to other banks and financial institutions and bill payments cost 1 kroner per transaction and 5 kroner per transaction if you require a receipt. Transfer of funds between accounts in Merkur is free.
When you undertake a transaction with Netbank you do so using a so-called electronic signature. Not only is this is legally binding (as a normal signature), it is also a secure method in which to transfer data.
You can use Netbank from more than one computer, for example both at home and at work. Set-up Procedures are explained in the instructions.
Technically speaking, Merkur’s Netbank is identical to Internet banking systems used by other banks in Denmark. The system is developed and tailored to the high security demands of the financial sector and includes the encryption of data, the use of digital signatures and security against the false use of data.
Merkur’s Netbank can be used every day between 6.30 a.m. and 2.00 a.m. Payments must be made by 9.00 p.m. in order to be cleared the same day.
As a user of Netbank you receive all receipts, authorisations and notifications (including monthly statements) from Merkur electronically. You can decide yourself whether or not to print them out. If you need documentation sent to you by post, contact Merkur.

In order to use Merkur netbank your PC must be connected to the Internet. Optimal system requirements are Microsoft Internet Explorer (version 6.1 or later) for PCs, Safari (version 3 or later) for Mac-users, and Adobe Acrobat Reader (version 7.0.8 or later).
Operating Systems: Windows 2000 Service Pack 3 or XP Service Pack or later.
For Mac-users the 10.4.11 - Tiger and 10.5.1 - Leopard or later.
